Discover Ciaooo

Ciaooo is a cozy, vibrant gem nestled in the heart of Manchester, located at 62-64 Swan St, M4 5JU, United Kingdom. With a menu bursting with flavor and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s quickly becoming a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike. The laid-back ambiance is perfect for a casual meal or a more intimate gathering, and the service is always attentive, making it a standout choice for dining in the city.

One of the first things that strikes you when you walk into Ciaooo is its modern yet relaxed vibe. The restaurant's decor is sleek with pops of color, creating a fun yet sophisticated setting. Whether you're coming in for a quick lunch or enjoying a slow dinner, the vibe fits perfectly with every occasion. But what really makes Ciaooo stand out is its mouth-watering menu, featuring a blend of classic Italian comfort food and modern twists that keep guests coming back for more.

The menu offers an impressive range of dishes, all prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. From their signature wood-fired pizzas to hearty pasta dishes, there's something for everyone. If you're a pizza lover, their signature Margherita pizza is a must-try, with its thin, crispy crust and perfect balance of tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh basil. For pasta enthusiasts, the homemade pappardelle with a rich, slow-cooked beef ragu is a dish that really hits the spot.

The staff at Ciaooo are known for their friendly, knowledgeable service. They’re always eager to recommend the perfect wine pairing or offer suggestions if you’re having a hard time deciding. The attention to detail, whether in the food or the service, creates an experience that feels special without being overly formal. You can see that they take great pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen.

In addition to the main menu, Ciaooo also features a rotating selection of seasonal specials, giving guests a chance to try new dishes based on what's fresh and available. For example, the autumn specials last year included a delicious pumpkin and ricotta ravioli that quickly became a crowd favorite. For dessert, don’t miss the homemade tiramisu, which is light, creamy, and the perfect way to end a meal.

As for the drinks, Ciaooo has an extensive wine list, carefully curated to pair with their dishes. Whether you're in the mood for a crisp white wine, a robust red, or something in between, the staff can help guide you to the right choice. If you're looking for something non-alcoholic, their freshly made juices and mocktails are a hit, especially on a warm day when paired with a light salad.

Another reason why Ciaooo is so popular among the locals is its location. Situated on Swan St, the restaurant is easily accessible, making it a great choice for both quick bites and longer dinners. It’s within walking distance of several other notable attractions in the area, making it an ideal spot to refuel during a day of sightseeing or shopping. Whether you're a local or a visitor, it’s a great place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a delicious meal.

In terms of value, Ciaooo offers a lot for your money. The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the food far exceeds what you might expect for the price. Whether you’re just stopping in for a quick bite or planning a full dinner, the experience is always worth it. Many regulars comment on the consistent quality, and it’s clear that Ciaooo has cultivated a loyal customer base that keeps coming back for more.

The restaurant has received plenty of positive reviews online, with guests praising not only the food but also the welcoming atmosphere. • Genuinely one of, if not the, best pizzas I've had in Manchester. Flavourful toppings and an impossibly soft base. Great service and value for money, especially with the 30% off deal in January. Highly recommend a visit, was comfortable as a solo diner as well.

  • Lovely pizza place. Great pizzas, and great tiramisu. The burrata pizzas are amazing, great toppings, great sauces, personally I would prefer the base of the pizzas to be a little crispier and more solid as it was a little floppy, but I guess that’s personal preference. The pistachio tiramisu was delicious, great flavours, and you get to keep the tin which is a very nice touch. 100% recommend.

  • We popped in on a rainy day and were instantly warmed up by the incredible food and atmosphere. Started with the garlic cheese & spiced chicken bread – absolutely delicious and packed with flavour. Then came the showstopper: the special pizza with vodka base sauce, pepperoni, chilli threads, and burrata. Every bite was unreal, and the spicy honey drizzle took it to another level – a must-try! Treated myself to a bottle of Montepulciano at £38. Not the cheapest, but totally worth it – smooth, rich, and the perfect pairing for the food. The pizza was £16 and the special starter £11 – both great value for the quality. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. The staff were lovely, the food was unforgettable, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you guys!

  • I know it's somewhat scandalous to say in the North there was too much cheese, but think there was too much cheese on the pizza which made the otherwise amazing pizza dough a tad soggy. Though I didn't ask specially for it to be crispy, I didn't feel a need to based on the previous pics/reviews. But even if cooked for longer think 20-30% less cheese so the base isn't weighed down would be perfection.

  • Ciao Neapolitan pizzeria is a nice cozy place to have pizza, dessert, and to get away from the rain and Cold. The calzone and pizza were fresh and tasty. The Cannolo dessert was nice as well. I would of given the place 5 stars, but the gentleman cooking the pizza was a tiny bit rude to me when I was taking pictures. I really liked the open kitchen concept and wanted to take pictures for the review but the gentleman did not like me taking the picture, which I totally understand. He just could have been nicer. Besides that, it is a nice place for pizza.

  • Excellent pizza Excellent Tiramisu Atmosphere not bad Parking is difficult, please plan first. Opens at 5pm Pizza had an excellent dough, excellent amount of sauce, excellent amount of cheese. You know that when u feel that ur sad it’s finished and you didn’t feel that it needs anything more. Tiramisu was excellent as well, in pistachio it just needed to taste more pistachio, this doesn’t mean it needed extra cream, however, the cream itself when combined to all other ingredients needed to be more dominant of pistachio taste. Overall, excellent pizza, will come back again for sure.
